Over 1,000 Players Compete at ITSF World Championships 2025
The 2025 ITSF World Table Soccer Championships in Zaragoza, Spain brought together over 1,000 competitors from more than 40 countries — making it one of the largest table soccer events in history. The tournament featured competitions across multiple categories including singles, doubles, and team events for both men and women.
In the men's team final, the United States defeated Luxembourg 40:25 to claim the title. Bulgaria's women took gold, while in women's doubles Blagovesta Hoffman and Alexandra Novkova earned a silver medal, losing to Germany in the final.
The championship was played on official Roberto Sport tables, the same models we carry in our shop. The scale and quality of this event continues to demonstrate that table soccer is a serious competitive sport with a growing global community.
Blagovesta Hoffman and Alexandra Novkova Win Silver in Women's Doubles
Bulgarian players Blagovesta Hoffman and Alexandra Novkova delivered an outstanding performance at the 2025 ITSF World Championships in Zaragoza, reaching the women's doubles final. The pair fought their way through the tournament bracket with impressive wins before facing Germany in the gold medal match.
Although they fell short in the final, the silver medal is a remarkable achievement and adds to Bulgaria's growing medal collection in international table soccer. Combined with the women's team gold, this championship was the most successful ever for Bulgarian table soccer.
Both players train regularly on Roberto Sport tables, and their success is a testament to the dedication of the Bulgarian table soccer community.
Bulgaria Wins Women's Table Soccer World Title in Zaragoza!
Bulgaria's women's national team made history at the 2025 ITSF World Championships in Zaragoza, Spain, defeating France 40:38 in a dramatic final. After trailing 12:20 in the opening matches, the team mounted an incredible comeback. Blagovesta Hoffman won her singles match 18:8 against Clementine Thomar, and in the deciding match Tanya Krencheva and captain Ekaterina Atanasova scored 10:10 to seal the victory.
The champion squad included Ekaterina Atanasova (captain), Veronika Mincheva, Radostina Lyubomirova, Alexandra Novkova, Blagovesta Hoffman, Tanya Krencheva, and Stanislava Staykova, coached by Denis Bisserov.
As captain Atanasova said after the match: "For me, this is a really special moment. I will always remember it, because together we achieved all this."
